Could the TV on the wall really have killed me?

When I was a teenager, my bed was right underneath a TV that was mounted on the wall. It scared me to think that the TV could fall and kill me at any moment. For a while I would have nightmares about it.

I would wake up every night thinking that I had been crushed by this TV. I would wake up sometimes thinking that my legs were broken from the TV. It was a very unpleasant experience for me.

Eventually I went away to college. When I would come home to visit I would still be scared to sleep under the TV. I think that permanently scarred me for life. I will now be forever afraid of that.
